Jedida Osei Bediako

Jedida is an early-career aquatic scientist with academic training in Natural Resources Management (BSc) and Aquaculture and Environment (MPhil) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He has served as a teaching assistant and currently works as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Fisheries and Watershed Management at KNUST, contributing to the recovery of endangered fish species. He has contributed to the design and implementation of multiple research projects and is a co-author of four peer-reviewed publications. In addition to his academic roles, Jedida is involved in various collaborative initiatives, including serving as a research assistant with A Rocha Ghana on environmental conservation and advocacy. Jedidah is also passionate about new innovations and enjoys sharing and collaborating on new opportunities, having worked as the Education Board Heard for RENARSA KNUST in that capacity. At BEC, he brings this expertise to help navigate and share new opportunities among the youth in the blue economy.
