YOUTH ELEVATING the Blue Economy

The critical gap between the youth & opportunities in Africa’s blue economy is undermining the sector’s potential to drive sustainable growth.

BEC addresses this gap through (i) providing a platform for the youth & youth-led organisations to connect, share opportunities, engage, and co-create (ii) empowering youth leadership & innovation in developing solutions (programs/projects) that address both their own needs (capacity), as well as the challenges & evolving demands of the sector.

Providing training workshops, webinars, and mentorship programs to equip youth (especially students) with industry-relevant skills.
